A force of unknown origin sweeps you back to self realization.

Was this a dream, a wanting so pure to be real. Somehow jumped off at the wrong station.

Landed in a dreamlike surreal world where wanting is the order of the day

Head in the clouds, strikes up the band as they repeat over and over stay stay stay.

floats down into a field of flowers, visions of poppy seeds dancing in his way.

Surrendering to the intoxicating pollen, falls deep into a dreamlike fog.

Stumbling through stony grounds remembered. wishing only how to get back home he becomes lost.

Spirals deeper into submission. Clinging to the clutter of his ambitions.

Golden light to the rescue blinding him, healing streams penetrate his body and soul.

When all is said and shunned, little can imagine the work is done. is copyrighted © and may not be used without permission from the creator

Moving towards the light. Helping find the way.

Begins the new day. Hoping it will be bright.

Baby on my mind. Her glowing energy so fine.

Smiles all around as she turns heads in all directions.

She moves in almost pristine perfection.

Who could not love her. She stimulates the senses.

Makes me think of all my sins, while reminding me of all my wins.

She glances my way with a grin.

Bathes in golden glowing light!

Bathes in golden glowing light!

Kisses her with delight!

Kisses you with blissful light!

Whispers sweet love in a covert way. Knowing she loves to play.

Follow her to the ends of the earth.

Follow til the end of time. is copyrighted © and may not be used without permission from the creator

Another Birthday tomorrow! Oh boy! Can't wait! For some reason I always get a deep depression right before my birthday. I don't understand the dynamics behind it either. I don't care that much about getting older although i try not to think about it. I'm healthy and feel a lot younger than I 'am, so I really don't understand it. I end up taking it out on people I love and care about, innocent peeps, you name it. The feeling continues to fester and grow in me until after its over, then things tend to slowly go back to normal. I wanted to explore this a little to see if this happens to others. I know it does and is fairly common but do others not understand why like I do? It also seems to get worse every year, which by now you'd think I would have figured out a way to deal with it. I can't trace it back to anytime when something bad may have happened. It must be something deeply buried inside me. So the best thing for me to do around my birthday is to go into retreat. The problem with that is that birthdays aren't just for the one who's having them, it really more for everyone around you. So to hide is not always an option. Maybe the attention to it makes me uncomfortable, but that shouldn't lead to a depression. I have that song "manic depression" going through my head over and over. "I know what I want but I just don't know how to go about getting it"
As I'm being constantly reminded, it is not all about me though, so I need to snap out of it and get past it. How to do that? hmmm maybe a birthday stripper might help. Yeah bring on the dancing girls! Couldn't hurt! Maybe a comedy club? Hell maybe I should go skydiving for the first time. If I can't figure it out while scared shitless and falling to the earth, then I never will. Of course others, friends, family who know me well, will tell me I'm still full of shit and to get over myself. That is always good advice but doesn't really help. I really just need to disappear from everything and everybody for a week. If Only! I miss my mother at times like these. She always had a smile and some good cheer to bring me back. What a generous gifted being she was. Never afraid to speak to anyone and never a bad word for anyone. How I got all my negativity, well I know i got it from my father cause I wanted to be just like him and funny, be careful what you wish for chimes true. Well at least I get to postpone my party for another week due to Superbowl being in Feb. Then the game takes precedence over my b-day :)
How do you make up with the ones you hurt? With the deadly pride always in the way, I always remember that stupid line form Urban cowboy when the uncle talks about having a gullet big enough to let the old pride swallow :)
I know the opinion of one will be whoa is me stop feeling sorry for youself so I got it out and feel a little better :)

Since I have become a DJ on, I have been slowly picking up new DJ listeners from around the world. It has helped me broaden my horizons with my musical tastes. There are so many great bands now from around the world, that one does not have to be locked in to just listening to the same old standbys. I have always had a broad range of musical taste, so now it is even more diverse. The follow or listen concept puzzles me though. It seems you can gain and lose listeners at a moments notice depending on the type of music you blip. I understand that some people add you because they like similar types of music. I have a hard time understanding why they can drop you just as fast if you play something they don't like or doesn't fall into their category or genre. What is wrong with some diversity? As Ricky Nelson said once after getting booed for not playing his old hits: "If all I can play is memories, I would rather drive a truck." (Garden Party)
There is some great music to discover out there and not just from blip. XM/Sirius has some great stations also. I absolutely love deep tracks. I get to hear some new and old versions of some of my favorites as well as many tunes I've never discovered.
If only I had more time to spend discovering all this new music.
Seems that constantly being drawn into all this social media that absorbs most of my time has left me having to abandon other things in my life, like writing, playing guitar, playing games, socializing, watching movies, reading, and the list goes on.......
I suppose if it makes me happy, then it can't all be bad, right?
If I had never got sucked into twitter and the like, I would be functioning in real life mode, but missing out on great opportunities to expand my spiritual, mental, interacting capabilities.
So moving forward, no regrets for all the great experiences and fantastic people I've met.

This morning I did a good morning blip offering coffee. Next thing I know I'm getting coffee requests for everyone like at Starbucks, Lol with one request from a sweet woman for tea with lemon. It was such fun!
Now I have lost a few friends on twitter who think I abandoned them, but I really don't see how or why? BlipFM, for those who are not familiar with it is a DJ blip music site that very much operates just like twitter except that you post music along with or without your comments. You can still reply, re tweet = re-blip etc. I'd have to say the dj's are a fun group of diverse backgrounds and tastes, just like twitter. So why do some folks get put off by it? Don't know or really care because music has always been top priority in my life. I still answer people when they reply to me on twitter. I was never one to post incessantly anyway just to see my name up there.
The flirtation on blip runs rampant and it is quite easy to get sucked into that. I actually enjoy it a lot and think it is quite healthy, but it can sometimes lead to problems with miscommunication and all that can go along with that. The same thing goes holds true for twitter from what I've seen. Once you weed out all the peeps who want to sell you something, get something from you, have you follow them for some big ego trip program designed to get you thousands of followers or get you "white Teeth."
Then there are the Porn spams, which has diminished considerably for me. I used to get a kick out of them until they got out of control and I was told to block and report.
Then there is the follow Friday and all the trending topics. I thought the #Followfriday thing would go away with the creation of the lists but it didn't. I don't even really understand the concept of the lists, as to me, it is just another popularity concept. Although my friend Lori explained it best in her blog that it is a convenient way to organize peeps that fit into a certain category.
I tend to think of peeps as having layers of categories they fit in so I have been unable to grasp the concept.
As far as etiquette goes, that seems to be based on how each person defines their behavior. My friend Gayle, did an excellent job of describing this topic and even provided guidelines and tools to use or follow. I tend to fly by the seat of my pants with such things and hence get myself in trouble sometimes or at least misunderstood. Bottom line is (you guys know I'm a bottom line kind of guy) don't take anyone too serious and especially yourself.

Well it is the New Year! Everyone starting out refreshed and with new expectations. I don't believe in resolutions. I have not for many years. It just seems like a huge build up that can go nowhere but down. The last new years resolution I kept seemed like centuries ago but it was a good one. I quit smoking! and never went back. We all tend to fall back to our old ways, so why put yourself through the letdown. I do however wish the best for everyone for the New Year! I hope to have relationships continue to grow and to make new ones.

I also want to take a moment to reflect on just how much music means to me in my life and to pay respect to some of my favorite blip stars. I'm going to mention some of you by name so I hope you don't mind. Warning you in advance. If I leave someone out please don't take it personally, as I have some memory problems and it doesn't in any way mean you are not loved and respected.
I think Jethro Tull's "Life's a long Song" says it best. We really do live a large portion of our lives through music, in many more ways than some of us realize. It truly does enrich our lives, guide our emotions, express our love, soothe our souls, and yes even guide the healing light within all of us.

@4Sins. She has been my greatest gift of "09! This special lady has touched my soul in so many ways, I cannot even begin to explain. She is an incredibly lighted being that can shine so bright! As such, she can soar to great heights and lows as I can also. I think she knows and more importantly understands me sometimes even better than I do. Thank you for being a part of my life! Awesome writer too!

@scotlandlover: I think we were touched by our mutual taste in music, but have become bonded by a mutual understanding of life, philosophy and love. I thank you for your understanding and support and hope the best for you and your family for '10

@PeractVita: An incredible friend and Gem! I feel I can talk to her about anything and always receive open honesty. That is a hard trait to find in someone. She even listens to me when I babble or rant on about nothing. She is an incredible writer also. Thank you for being my friend!

@GeriMontoya : I have to admit that when I first started talking to you, I thought you were too sweet to be real. It has taken some time to realize how real and sweet you really are. I don't deserve your love, but you have certainly helped me battle with my demons. You are incredibly lighted! She calls me her living jukebox! Thank you for showing me your light!

@loripop: Again, we were drawn by our music, but grew beyond mutual understanding of each other. You are another gifted lighted soul who has truly touched me through your blog and music. You showed me some things about myself that I needed to process. I thank you for that! Your are also an incredible writer.

@DeAnn: An incredibly talented woman! She can keep me jumping when we get our RP's going full stream! You really did an awesome thing with creating BlipIsHip and in forming a family community of music appreciation encompassing all genres of music. It has grown to become more of a place where folks like us can feel a part of a loving family. I thank you for that.

@starlingpoet: ~smiles~ You are an incredible lighted woman who has been a true friend from when we first met! I admire and respect your tenacity and dedication to your followers. You have awesome taste in music and are not afraid to share your roots.
I hope the best for you '10

@Edainsmom: What an incredible inspiration you are! Just today you said the sweetest thing to me that lifted my spirits so high, you have no idea! You have given me silent support in your rp's and in the music you blip. It is an honor to know another truly gifted writer!

@KristyRNinAZ: One of the most positive and outgoing ladies on blip and twitter! You truly shine bright, and as a fellow Zonie, how can you go wrong :) Love the exchanges we share! Thank you! You send out happiness!

@donnadontplay: Although we haven't known each other long, you have touched me with your light! You are open and honest! I appreciate that and hope we become closer in '10 :)

@lillianwong: Always positive and blipping the kind of music that touches my soul! Thank you!

@dARKANGELofLOVE: You are a shinning angel to me! Always supportive and beaming with nice music. Thank you!

@Unaturalsoul: You have touched me with your impeccable timing of your re-blips. Maybe its coincidence but you have awesome insight! you may think I'm a little strange (ya think) but that's ok.

@Tisha: We seemed to hit if off right away with our similar tastes in music! When your on blip, it shines brighter! I hope to get to know you better :)

@Silveramberz: One of my first friends on blip! You are an incredibly giving woman who supports her listeners with real dedication! Thank you for being my friend even when I was being a jerk, Lol.

I know I have forgotten some of you and will be kicking myself later when I do remember, but I will continue more in the next post.I know that you all have enriched my life in 2009 and have made me a better person. I still hate the fact that we can only give three props a day, but my props will be more thoughtful in 2010 and reflect the color and intensity that you all give off in harmony. Keep rocking and I hope to be able to measure up to all of your great qualities in 2010!
